Post Proposal Submission Support
Submitting the proposal is not the final step.Once a proposal/bid has been submitted and prior to an award of the contract being made, there are numerous actions that may need to be taken in order to meet every solicitation requirement. We assist in this by doing the following:
- Prepare and submit Clarification Request/Deficiency Report (CR/DR) responses
- Provide Best and Final Offer (BAFO)/Final Proposal Revision support
- Assist with preparing oral discussions, presentations and associated materials where requested
- Assist in developing final cost/technical strategies reflecting new and increased intelligence gathering about the competition
- Assist in developing staffing, quality assurance/control, and health and safety plans when required
- Assist in developing transition plans to ensure a successful changeover from the incumbent contractor
- Assist with pre-award surveys
Sometimes a proposal consists of an oral presentation. Sometimes a paper proposal is followed by an oral proposal. Occasionally oral proposals are used to replace paper proposals. Pro-Methods can help you modify your written proposal techniques for preparing and presenting an oral proposal. Pro-Methods believes the following are the most important factors in achieving a winning oral proposal:
- Elements of a Good Product Demonstration - What you demonstrate and how you demonstrate it can make or break your evaluated score with the panel.
- Orals - Hey Coach! Help Me With My Body Language - Many times we forget that over 50 percent of the communications package that we deliver to our customers, friends, and families is body language. We can help you with this.
- The Presentation After the Presentation - Allowing the audience to ask questions after your presentation is an excellent way to reinforce your message and to continue to sell your winning proposal. The question and answer period is actually another presentation and vital to most speaking situations
- Orals Coaching - You are tracking an opportunity to bid and putting all the ingredients in place to deliver a winning proposal. You now must select key personnel, the same personnel that will deliver the oral presentation. What do you do now? How will you get them ready to succeed? Pro-Methods has extensive experience in helping you position yourself for success.
